There's a word processing note for textual information, a spreadsheet note for accounting info or any type of list, and a source code note for source code snippets. All notes are stored in a hierarchical tree outline and can easily be moved around and re-organized at a later point. Well that is just a very short summary. RightNote includes a large number of features that help you deal with notes and information more efficiently, make your data more memorable and organized, and stimulate your brain with colors, icons and tags. Its a very useful PIM and general tool for storing data and information. The RichView editor is very powerful, you can create tables and insert images very easily. The user interface and features are very well designed. The idea to have different types of notes (memo, rich text, rich view, source code and spreadsheet) is great and makes sense. Updates with feature additions and bug fixes are coming very frequently. I use RightNote every day!
Excellent new software designed to work on the Vista platform. Only outliner I know that provides spreadsheet as well as text sections, which was one of the features that I have been seeking. Use of multiple pages is another attractive feature. Program is still moving ahead with frequent updates. Cost is very reasonable for the features provided.
